Adopting Management Models for Small Businesses in Syria Based on Free cloud Software A Practical Implementation in an Engineering Office in the Reef Dimashq
This study aims to propose models of accessible free cloud software as an effective solution to enhance the role of e-management in small businesses in Syria. Small business owners face challenges in electronic payments and access to cloud services due to the restrictions imposed by economic and technological sanctions on Syria. Small businesses in Syria are the focus of this study. Initially, surveys were distributed to a sample of small business owners in various sectors to gather their opinions on investing in cloud computing to manage their businesses, the associated challenges, and their needs for this transition. Sixty-five valid surveys were collected and underwent a series of descriptive statistical analyses using SPSS to extract information.
The results of the survey revealed the awareness of small business owners of the concept of cloud computing. The findings indicated the readiness of small business owners to adopt cloud software in managing their businesses, despite some challenges hindering this adoption. Additionally, there are concerns related to data security and confidentiality. The second part of practical aspect involved implementing free cloud software in a small engineering office in the Damascus countryside. The office's staff needs were assessed, functional requirements were defined, alternative programs were evaluated against these requirements, and a suitable model for managing the office's operations was developed, including employee training.
The application of this model demonstrated improvements in the office's administrative efficiency, and communication among team members. Project management tools facilitated task and resource allocation, increased time efficiency, and cost reduction.
The study concluded with recommendations to use suitable cloud software in small business management to enhance business efficiency. And awareness about these solution

The Role of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Web Security Management: A Case Study on Protection Against Malicious Attacks
Due to the increasing and escalating severity of cyberattacks targeting websites, which jeopardize user data and damage website reputation, constituting a breach of website security, artificial intelligence technologies play a significant role in enhancing website security management by detecting malicious attacks and phishing emails.
The research focuses on evaluating the performance of artificial intelligence models in detecting and classifying attacks and emails on websites using different datasets. The models were trained to recognize and classify malicious patterns, and their performance in the detection process was then evaluated. In the final stage, these models were applied to a virtual website to test their performance in a real-world setting.
The results of research showed that the accuracy value of the deep learning model in detecting and classifying emails exceeds 97% with a loss rate of less than 10%. Additionally, there were no overfitting issues. As for the results related to cyberattack detection, the overall accuracy value of the machine learning model was around 94% with 100% accuracy for classifying normal traffic.
The results of the analytical study were applied to a virtual website by linking artificial intelligence models to the website. The application results demonstrated the effectiveness of the models in detecting attacks and phishing emails targeting the website and classifying normal traffic. The research results represent a valuable addition to understanding how artificial intelligence can be used to detect cyberattacks and enhance website security

Evaluating the effect of implementing SIEM solution in enhancing the role of information security in banks operating in Syrian Arab Republic
This research aims to clarify the importance of having a centralized system for managing security incidents and information in organizations in general, and in banks operating in Syrian Arab Republic particularly. And the effect of this system in reinforcement the role of information security teams in these banks and helping them doing their tasks and duties in protecting information assets from external and internal threats that may be exposed to.
An electronic survey has been designed using Google Forms platform and published to be answered by information security specialists and people operating in information technology field. 38 answers were collected and then analyzed using the “maximum number of answers” criteria.
The research led to determine the most important use cases that information security teams need to detect and monitor using SIEM system which helps providing a secure banking environment as possible. Besides giving each of these use cases a weight based on its criticality and importance in protecting information assets. The research has been finished by introducing a number or recommendations and proposals to reinforce the role of information security teams in banks.

Impact of applying information technology on improving the creative job performance of employees in training companies
The presented research aims to study the impact of applying information technology in improving the creative job performance of workers in training centers in the city of Homs. The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical approach and designed a questionnaire dedicated to the purpose of the research. It was distributed to 85 individuals working in training centers in the city of Homs, and 77 analyzable answers (90.6%) were retrieved.
The research objectives were achieved and the hypotheses were tested by analyzing the sample members’ answers to the questionnaire items, based on a set of statistical methods using the statistical program SPSS, where the following results were reached:
‒ Training centers in the city of Homs apply information technology to a high degree, and this indicates the awareness and awareness of those in charge of these centers of the importance of applying information technology in performing the tasks required of them.
‒ Workers in training centers in the city of Homs, under investigation, are distinguished by their high creative job performance. ‒ There is an impact of applying information technology in its studied dimensions on improving the creative job performance of workers in training centers.
‒ There is a direct correlation between the application of information technology and the creative job performance of workers in training centers.
‒ There are statistically significant differences related to some demographic variables for members of the study sample in evaluating the application of information technology dimensions in the training centers under study.
The research also presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which is providing training centers with continuous attention to applied information technology to improve the creative job performance of their employees.

تأثير التقنيات الزراعية الحديثة على محصول القمح "دراسة مقارنة "
This research aims to investigate the impact of modern techniques on wheat cultivation in the Syrian Arab Republic. The research community was selected in the province of Hama, where 31 farmers were randomly chosen from those cultivating wheat on their lands. The social and economic characteristics of the farmers were studied using a questionnaire designed and filled out by the researcher through personal interviews with the farmers.
The results indicated a significant difference in the average wheat yield between farmers using modern techniques and those who do not, indicating a positive effect of modern techniques. Additionally, there was a significant relationship between the number of techniques used and an increase in the average wheat yield, as the yield increased with the increase in the number of techniques used. Regarding the relationship between years of experience and the use of modern techniques, it was found to be significant, with more experienced farmers tending to use modern techniques more. However, no significant relationship was found between the application of modern techniques and the improvement of production quality.
The study recommended taking measures to attract youth to the field of agriculture by encouraging the adoption of modern agricultural techniques, enhancing training and education programs to encourage the use of modern techniques in agriculture and government support. Furthermore, understanding other factors affecting the cultivated land area, such as wheat prices, climatic conditions, and government support, was also emphasized. The impact of bank's compliance with IT governance standards according to (COBIT 5)
framework on banking services quality (A Practical Study at al Baraka Bank Syria)
This research examines the degree of bank's compliance with the IT governance standards according to the (COBIT5) framework, also the degree of banking services quality based on the (SERVPERF) criteria, in order to study the impact of bank's compliance with the IT governance standards according to (COBIT5) framework on banking services quality.
To achieve this, the researcher conducted a practical case study at "al Baraka Bank Syria", by designing a questionnaire based on several "Arab and foreign" references related to the research topic, which included (53 statements) related to the processes for Governance of Enterprise IT according to the COBIT5 framework and related to banking services quality standards according to the (SERVPERF) model.
The questionnaire was judged by the Director of "al Baraka Bank Syria IT Department", who holds one of IT governance and management professional certificate, and it also was judged by the research supervisor.
A total of (34 questionnaires) were distributed to the members of the entire research population, which consists of specialized employees in the departments that concerned with the implementation of IT governance standards in the bank, these departments are: (Information Technology - Internal Audit - Risk Management – and Compliance Department). A count of (32 valid questionnaires) were retrieved, and the response rate was equal to (94.117%). By using descriptive and inferential statistical methods through "The Statistical Package for Social Studies (SPSS)" software, and by the adoption of "The Simple Linear Regression Analysis Test", the researcher was able to study the influential relationship between the independent and dependent variables of this research, and reach to many results, the most important of which are:
There is a statistically significant impact of the bank's compliance with the IT governance standards according to the (COBIT5) framework on the quality of banking services, with a medium degree of correlation according to the Pearson's correlation coefficient value.
The existence of this influential relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable was found through the constants of the Simple Linear Regression Equation, such that an increase in the degree of the bank's compliance with IT governance standards according to the (COBIT 5) framework by one degree will lead to an increase in the quality of banking services by (0.692), and this effect is confirmed by the calculated value of (F Value).
A set of recommendations were proposed, and the most important of which are: Senior management at the bank should continue to strengthen the role of governance and IT governance, and should take measures that would support its application, especially this study showed that ITG has many positive results that improve the quality of banking services.

An Analytical Study on the Government's Orientation Towards Digital Transformation in the Syrian Tourism Sector.
The study aims to identify the extent of the implementation of the digital transformation strategy in the Syrian tourism sector, the dimensions of digital transformation, and the most important achievements of the government in the tourism sector in this regard. What are the difficulties and challenges that hinder the process of digital transformation in the tourism sector?
The study adopted the descriptive method in covering the theoretical aspects, and the analytical method in practical procedures, where data was collected using the questionnaire as the main tool of the study, which consisted of three sections, the first section expressing the title of the study and the target sample, the second for the demographic data of the respondents, and the third section consists of 29 paragraphs expressing the four dimensions of digital transformation (digital environment, digital requirements, digital organizational culture, and human requirements) as an independent variable, and the extent of its application in the Syrian tourism sector as a dependent variable, and the tools of personal interview and observation were used during the field research.
The study population consisted of all workers concerned with tourism activity in government agencies (Ministry, Directorates and College of Tourism) in Damascus Governorate, and a sample of 50 senior and middle management employees and department heads in the studied community was selected, and (43) valid questionnaires were adopted for analysis with a recovery rate of 86%, and data were analyzed using SPSS software to extract the results of the study.
The study concluded that there is a strong relationship between the dimensions of digital transformation and the extent of the implementation of the digital transformation strategy for government services in the Syrian Arab Republic (Ministry of Communications and Technology).
It was found that the availability of infrastructure and legislative systems has a strong direct correlation with the implementation of digital transformation, through the study of the infrastructure components axis.It was also found that there is a strong correlation between the human requirements axis and the reality of digitization from the respondents' point of view, but there are obstacles to the integrated application of digitization, the most important of which is the electronic payment system, which requires integrated efforts from all sectors of the government and society.
Based on the results of the study, several suggestions were made that activating digital tourism services is an imperative necessity to develop tourism in Syria, boost the national economy, and bridge the digital gap with developed countries by creating a digital environment and qualified and creative human resources capable of absorbing and localizing technology.

The impact of the availability of electronic service quality dimensions for the "Muamalati" application on citizens’ adoption of E-government services via mobile phone
This study aimed to investigate the impact of the availability of e-service quality dimensions (ease of use, service reliability and accuracy, notifications and transaction tracking, service integration) in the "My Transactions" application on Syrian citizens' adoption of e-government services through mobile phones.
To achieve the study objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was employed. An electronic questionnaire was designed to collect data from a sample of 210 users of the "My Transactions" app from various Syrian governorates.
The results of statistical analysis using simple and multiple linear regression revealed a statistically significant positive impact of all e-service quality dimensions on the level of citizens' adoption of the app, albeit with varying degrees of influence. The dimensions of "service reliability and accuracy" and "ease of app use" emerged as the most influential on adoption.
Moreover, the findings showed that a multidimensional model incorporating the combined e-service quality dimensions was able to explain 69.6% of the variance in citizens' adoption level of the "My Transactions" app, confirming the importance of adopting a comprehensive perspective in evaluating and developing e-government services.
In light of the results, the study concluded with a set of recommendations for government entities responsible for developing e-applications and services. Key among these were: investing in improving technical infrastructure, simplifying procedures and reducing steps required to complete services, enhancing notification, alert, and transaction tracking features, and working towards integrating services within a unified platform, while considering the needs and preferences of different citizen segments.

Building a Strategic Framework for Evaluating Electronic Health Information System Applied in UNRWA towards its Development
The aim of this research is to build a strategic framework for evaluating the Electronic Health Information System and its development, which has been implemented in UNRWA since 2009 as a first stage in the system's development life cycle. The research also aims to set goals for this process and to produce evaluation results that can be used as inputs for the next stages of the system's development life cycle. The research methodology used a descriptive and analytical approach, including field visits, in-depth interviews, and brainstorming sessions with decision-makers in the medical department of UNRWA, as well as a survey as a tool for collecting information. The following steps were followed in evaluating the Electronic Health Information System: studying the internal and external environment of the system using a SWOT matrix, determining the appropriate development strategy, setting goals for this strategy using quantitative analysis measures (IEF Matrix, TOWS Matrix, and QSPM).
The research concluded with strategic goals, including the need for a flexible and scalable system that is easy to use, compliant with standards and regulations, and capable of integrating with other systems. The research also emphasized the need for continuous environmental analysis of any information system to anticipate and plan for the future scientifically and systematically. Additionally, the research recommends utilizing human resources experiences and technological advancements to support UNRWA in advancing in the cycle of developing the Electronic Health Information System and transitioning to the next stages of this process.
The study recommends that the Ministry of Health in Syrian Arab Republic should start developing a health information system that can link with international health information systems to enhance Syria's ability to predict epidemics, promote international cooperation, and exchange information and experiences among experts in this field.
This research is expected to be useful for researchers and stakeholders interested in developing administrative information systems.

The Role of Nanotechnology in Construction Industry – Case Study on nanoceramics
The research aims to introduce the concept of nanotechnology and its applications, especially in the ceramic industry, and what it can offer in terms of improving specifications. After conducting theoretical studies on nanotechnology and its applications, the researcher conducted a practical study in a ceramic laboratory, examining the production line, manufacturing stages, and the nature of nanomaterials used in this industry. The researcher also conducted a survey involving experts in this industry, and the results showed that nanotechnology is effective in giving ceramics new distinctive specifications that exceed cost differences. The practical aspect of the research demonstrated improvements in terms of weight, smoothness, hardness, corrosion resistance, bacteria resistance, heat resistance, moisture resistance, and others.
The research recommended the necessity of raising awareness about the concept of nanotechnology and its potential uses, harnessing it to serve the Syrian environment. This can be achieved through conferences, seminars, lectures, directing scientific and applied research to nanotechnology, and intensifying nanotechnology study materials in our local universities' curricula, especially in engineering and architecture colleges.إعداد: الطالب ياسر معلا

Impact of applying alarm management standards in industrial automation systems
Case study of rebar rolling mill plant at HADEED Metal Manufacturing Company
Poorly functioning alarm systems create an environment in which alarms of high importance can be missed and operators can be desensitized to the alarm system. The performance of alarm systems has been a factor in many major industrial accidents, with catastrophic results.
This research aims to identify the standards for managing and improving alarm systems, how to apply these standards in a large industrial facility, and their impact on the performance indicators of the alarm system.
The descriptive-analytical approach was used, in which the researcher studied the state of the rolling mill plant of the Metal Manufacturing Company "HADEED," which uses modern automation systems to control production processes.
The research site has not previously used any type of alarm management practice and seeks to apply alarm management practices based on the standard ISA-18.2-2009 (management of alarm systems for industrial processes).
The researcher obtained the necessary data to complete the research from the Metal Manufacturing Company "HADEED," and the study data spanned the period between 2021 and 2022. Appropriate statistical methods were used to obtain results.
Alarm management requirements were researched and determined, and new software tools were developed to support alarm management processes. The performance of the alarm system at the project site was measured using these tools and the worst-performing alarms were identified. By investigating their causes, the required improvements were identified to reduce the alarm rates.

Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Digital Content Development Process – Case Study in Agencies and Marketing Companies
This study aimed to understand the impact of integrating and using artificial intelligence techniques on the digital content industry, and identifying the opportunities and challenges associated with utilizing AI programs in this field.
This research reviewed some of various methods and techniques that can be integrated to develop content in marketing agencies, and examine the benefits and efficiency of these techniques in developing marketing content. Data was collected through opinion surveys to explore the current use of AI techniques in digital content development, and what are the challenges for the content creators to adopte these technologies. Additionally, some AI techniques were practically applied within the content development process in a marketing agency, and the output content was reviewed by specialists to analyze its quality and effectiveness, comparing with the traditional methods.
The study found that using AI-based software in the content development process leads to saving the required effort and time to prepare and create content in marketing agencies. Also, it contributes to enhance creativity and accelerates the process of idea generation. It also improves the efficiency of the content development process and the quality of the outputs.
Furthermore, the study provided guidelines and recommendations for marketing companies regarding the effective use of AI applications to increase the efficiency of digital content development.

The Role of Adopting Modern Work Organization Methods in Developing Company Performance and Customer Satisfaction
The research aims to study the role of adopting modern work organization methods in developing corporate performance and increasing customer satisfaction in Syria. The descriptive analytical approach was used in the study along with a number of statistical methods in the SPSS program. The research relied on a questionnaire as a tool for data collection from the study population, consisting of individuals who previously visited customer service centers in telecommunications companies. The sample size of the research was 86 people.
The study reviewed modern organization methods: digital transformation, electronic appointment booking systems, etc.
The importance of work organization in modern companies, methods for performance development, and the significance of customer satisfaction to companies were clarified.
The study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which is the acceptable level of application of modern technologies in companies, especially in customer service centers, and the significant statistical impact of modern technologies (such as the "Mahjooz" application) on increasing customer satisfaction and thereby developing corporate performance. One of the most important results of the study was the existence of a positive direct relationship between customer satisfaction and the development of corporate performance.
The study also showed that demographic variables did not influence opinions about modern organization methods, customer satisfaction, and corporate performance development. The study concluded with many recommendations and guidelines aimed at increasing positive factors by adopting modern work organization methods that enhance customer satisfaction towards companies.

The Impact of the Automated Sale Service Quality Study Depending On Customer Satisfaction in A Governmental Positive Intervention Institutions
This study saw the true nature of positive intervention institutions in terms of their performance of a service role in meeting the needs of citizens for goods and services at acceptable prices and with a small profit margin, and preventing merchants from monopolizing some goods, especially strategic goods such as rice, sugar, and others. This research was prepared in order to shed light on the importance of automating some processes in a positive intervention institution and the role of the dimensions of service quality through this automation in achieving customer satisfaction, through a questionnaire with three sections, the first containing the dimensions of service quality and customer satisfaction, and the second. It contains some personal information such as gender, age, etc., and the third contains adding negative or positive comments to the institution by the customer.
This research was also divided into three chapters:
The first chapter contains the general framework of the research in terms of introduction, terminology, definitions, research variables, research hypotheses, the importance of research, previous studies, and other pillars of the research.
As for the second chapter, the theoretical section was about some of the basic topics in the research, such as quality, its definition and nature, the stages of quality development, and the importance of quality. Then it addressed the concept of service in terms of its concept, classification of services, service characteristics, and the concept of service quality in terms of the emergence of this concept and the goals of service quality. Methods for measuring the quality of services. Then we discussed the concept of automation, its development, its goals, the advantages and disadvantages of automation, an overview of the history of government support for basic goods, the types of cashier systems, how they work and their importance. Then we touched on the concept of customer satisfaction, the origins of this concept, its definitions, and the importance of satisfaction. Customers, types of customer satisfaction, stages of customer satisfaction, and the relationship of service quality to customer satisfaction.
The third chapter was the practical section, which dealt with the field research methodology, data analysis, the population and sample of the study, and the method of collecting data through 61 questionnaires, the data of which were entered into the SPSS program. After ensuring the moderation of the data, the stability of the questionnaire, and internal consistency, the results were drawn and confirmed. From the hypotheses established in terms of their stability or refutation, based on which conclusions were drawn from the study, some recommendations were also proposed for the institution that is the subject of the research.

Designing an electronic management model for TV programs and its impact on administrative performance (A practical study on the Syrian Radio and Television General Authority)
The research deals with a practical study of designing an electronic management model for TV programs and evaluating its impact on administrative performance in the Syrian Radio and Television Authority, where the researcher adopted the descriptive approach in forming the theoretical aspect of the study. In media institutions, by adopting literature, research and books, documented scientific websites, and also by using personal interviews to collect information related to the theoretical and practical foundations of managing television programs in media institutions.
The researcher also designed an electronic management model for TV programs, defining its objectives, requirements, and advantages, and defining users, their tasks, and use cases. An ERD diagram was also designed, which illustrates the database model.

The role of technology management in the optimal use of hybrid maintenance methods using the programmable controller PLC “Case Study Clayco Brick Kiln”
This research addresses the methods of predictive maintenance and their integration with preventive maintenance methods by providing a comprehensive view of the implementation of modern maintenance techniques and methods, and takes a look at the costs of such techniques and how can we achieve the objectives of both predictive and preventive maintenance at the same time.
This research will also highlight the methods of maintenance used and the obstacles that limits the continuity of production at the CLAYCO Tile factory, which was considered the first fully automated factory in the Syrian Arab Republic, located at Hasya Industrial Area related to Homs governorate, in 2009.
This research will also include an upgraded PLC program designated for the tile production furnace of the factory that helps applying the fundamentals of predictive maintenance and combine them with the methods of preventive maintenance to maintain the operation of the furnace for as long as possible, especially that this kind of furnace must stay in operation all year long.

Applying digital transformation in human resource management within Syrian educational institutions (Case Study - Public Schools in Damascus)
Our research aims at the impact of applying digital transformation in human resources management on the performance of educational institutions (case study - public schools in Damascus), to study the possibility of applying digital transformation in human resource management in Syrian educational institutions according to the following steps:
1.Gathering the necessary information, by which I mean theory, from reliable academic references.
2.Carrying out a practical study that shows the reality of human resource management in Syrian educational institutions.
3.We will design the digital transformation model by stating the expected scenario for the system, its mechanism, and its requirements.
The study concluded that the application of digital transformation in human resource management improves the performance of educational institutions in Syria and can be relied upon to improve efficiency and effectiveness. It can be recommended to implement a digital transformation model and suggestions to achieve this, such as developing an integrated system, providing training, developing mobile applications, updating the data structure and encouraging cooperation with technology companies. It is also necessary to improve the level of education in Syria and provide the necessary support to achieve sustainability in digital transformation and improve the quality of education.

Evaluation of The Experience of Using Mobile Applications Technology as a Reference for Pharmaceutical Work (Case Study Of KEPLER Application In Syria)
The study aims to know the extent to which smart applications are accepted by the pharmaceutical community, students and practitioners, and the role played by these applications to serve the pharmacist scientifically and practically, and its importance to pharmacy students, and to search for the reasons for using smart applications or neglecting them as an advanced technology.
The study was conducted by the researcher performing a number of interviews with the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Aleppo University and some pharmacists in Aleppo city, and conducting a descriptive analysis of the data collected using the questionnaire tool, which amounted to 75 samples.
The results were as follows:
- There is a correlation between the satisfaction of users, who were mostly pharmacists, by 69.33%, with the services provided by the application, and their satisfaction in general with their use of the application, and the daily frequency of using the application came to 64%.
This degree of satisfaction and the confirmation of users, who accounted for 78.7%, of its importance in improving work and shortening time, led to the spread of the application.
- As for the users who emphasized its importance to the students of pharmacy , they were 77.3%.
As for the results obtained by the researcher from the interviews, they showed that the technology still needs more prevalence in the Syrian pharmaceutical community.

A study invests business intelligence techniques in managing student data at universities (A practical application at the faculty of informatics engineering -Tishreen university)
This study aims to find a tool that helps decision makers in universities with regard to managing students' data and their majors, the most important of which in analyzing college students' data to find out the factors affecting student choices, in order to make this choice successful. This was done by preparing the students' primary data and converting it into information that can be analyzed and studied.
The study presents a realistic application model of business intelligence techniques on 458 students' data from Faculty of Informatics Engineering at Tishreen University in the three majors (software-networks-artificial intelligence) for the academic years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 more than 26000 record in 19 excel file. Where the primary data of these students was filtered, and prepared for the analyzing process using business intelligence techniques available within the Power BI program, in addition to analyzing this data and studying the relationships between them through the statistical program SPSS, and the factors that may affect the student's choice of major were compared and identified.

Digital Transformation in Tax Calculation system for commercial establishments, in a step to e-government
In this research, most of our interest was in the state treasury and the protection of the citizen, so our idea was to propose an electronic system that is able to protect the state treasury from any tax evasion process that may be carried out by these people, and reduce corruption administrative damages committed by some weak-minded people in government agencies during the tax collection process, also protect the citizen from price manipulation carried out by the owners of economic activities of all kinds.
In this study, a comprehensive proposal was developed on the application of an electronic tax system, far from the intervention of the human factor, that achieves as much as possible tax justice in line with the Syrian government's directions in its endeavor to reform and improve the Syrian tax system, by taking advantage of the mechanisms of digital transformation in the transition to a tax system. Electronic invoice, electronic tax collection, control of the Syrian market, and price control.

The importance of the study stems from the fact that it defined the electronic payment methods available in Syria and showed their importance, especially in light of the government's approach to the digital transformation process, and worked on proposing an electronic model to be presented to an emerging electronic payment company to test and implement it

Enhancement of data transmission over wired networks in Syria with fiber-optic technology- Case Study in Waves Internet Service LLC
In this study, fiber optic technology was presented and a practical case was presented for a hotel in Syria, where the Golden Mazzeh Hotel was provided with fiber optic service through the Internet service provider waves, with the economic feasibility study of design and installation. And the operation of this service and the explanation provided about this technology and its advantages and the comparison between it and ADSL services in Syria. It also provides an explanation of the structure of the optical fiber network and an explanation of the structure of the network, its elements and basic components, the mechanism of connection and the geographical distribution of this project. The research presented a feasibility study within five years, by calculating the total revenues in each year from the hotel, starting from the revenues in each year of the first and second years at a speed of 40 megabytes and ending with the rest of the years with a package of 60 megabytes, and calculating the capital and operational costs of the project each year. The feasibility study concluded that the project is economically feasible through obtaining acceptable net profit values during and after five years of the life of the project

The extent to which smart schools are achieved in Syria in the era of knowledge-based economy - Case study on a group of schools in the city of Homs
The study aimed to shed light on the administrative problems faced by schools, and how the use of information and communication technology helps in solving these problems, which is the most important component of the smart school and the first pillar in it. Through this study, we investigated the extent to which three of the smart school pillars were achieved in a sample of public and private schools in Homs city, and these three pillars are (the use of information and communication technology, the use of information management systems, the power of communication with parents), and we also studied the relationship of these pillars with the educational efficiency of schools and the compatibility of the outputs of the educational process with the requirements of the knowledge-based economy
