This study aims to explore the current situation of non-performing loan in private banks in Syria to analyze the relationship between banks performance indicators via several bank specific variables and non-performing loans ratio
And the study is based on the hypothesis that the NPLs ratio is influenced by the bank variables, so in order to understand at what extent the banking variables will be able to explain the non-performing loan ratios in Syrian banking system, the researcher followed the descriptive approach for theoretical concept of non-performing loans, and case study approach for empirical methodology

This research aims at the definition and importance of corporate governance including its principles, objectives, and their role in increasing the performance of state enterprises. As there is no agreement on the concept of governance, there is an agreement that applying governance enhances the performance of an enterprise undertaking and its ability to face any financial crisis may be the importance of governance as an effective tool of control in the governmental corporations through several internal and external mechanisms. The administration council is the main mechanism of governance in state corporations because of the regulatory authorities within the department monitors the supervision of managers, evaluate their work, and its resolutions have great effect on the performance of the enterprise

دراسة ميدانية عن مدى فعالية تقييم نظام الأداء الفردي المعتمد في الشركة السورية للاتصالات في ظل التحول لشركة مساهمة من وجهة نظر العاملين دراسة استخدام تقنية (الأهمية الأداء) - IPA ANALYSIS
The study aims to identify the effectiveness of individual performance evaluation system in the Syrian Telecom sector, using IPA Importance-Performance Analysis to determine the dimensions of individual performance evaluation system performance and evaluation influencing the company's performance level. The study population consisted of 1052 employee in the Syrian Telecommunications Co. the sample of study consisted of 210 employee were selected randomly in order to represent the members of the population , The researcher used the questionnaire in order to collect data , 186 questionnaires were collected . A number of statistical analysis methods were used by SPSS software. The most important ones is (Important – performance), the study revealed that factors such as age, years of experience, educational qualification have an important role in determining the effectiveness of individual performance evaluation system, while sex and grade does not effect on individual evaluation system
