General description
The course deals with the origin and definition of tourism and its development stages, discusses types and forms of tourism, and reviews tourism motives and the relationship between tourism, sciences and human phenomena. The course provides also an explanation of economic and social impacts of the tourism industry, includes tourism theories, tourist attractions and incentives, methods of government sponsorship of tourism, basic tourism services, and components of tourism infrastructure, and presents contemporary and future tourism trends are presented.

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
