    This course covers the area of strategic human resource management, offering a comprehensive cover of the advances in the HRM field. In addition, this course aims to develop students’ abilities to improve organizational functioning through strategic human resource management. At the completion of the course, students should be familiar with key ideas and approaches in SHRM. It provides students with an evidence-based understanding of strategic HRM where they will be exposed to a range of HRM functions, perspectives, theoretical frameworks, and best practice. Students will be expected to engage in self-directed active learning to develop strategic analytical skills and knowledge of contemporary HRM issues. The general intention of the course is to cover both functional and critical perspectives on HRM.
