General description
This module deals with the medical learning environment. It aims at developing the skills of medical team to set different standards and implement them to measure different learning environments.
Intended Learning outcomes:
At the end of this module, students will be able to :
• Defines the learning environment and defines the best tools for the measuring learning environment.
• Identifies the challenges of the learning environment.
• Develops a learning environment to enhance learning opportunities and achieve academic performance.
• Applies tools to measure students attitude towards the learning environment.
• Measures the current learning environment in the medical institution in which it operates and compares it with international learning environments.
• Develop curricula to suit the development of learning environment and enhance learning opportunities.
• Defines a virtual learning environment and develops strategies for designing implementing it (example Scottish medical electronic curricula as a model).
• Designs a student-based learning environment, centered on solving clinical problems, community-based.
