General description
This course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills that enable them to manage operations in production/service organizations. So they are able to understand and meet the competitive challenges and manage resources efficiently within the organization. This is achieved through providing detailed explanation and discussion of the following topics: -Productivity and the need to achieve outstanding level of productivity, -Product design and development, -Facilities Layout, -Plant Location, -Operations Strategy in the Domestic and international Environment, -Demand forecasting, -Aggregate production planning, -Current Issues in operations management.
