General description
This course aims to enable students to understand the basic concepts of technology and to introduce them to the process of technology transfer and its components, the requirements of each of these components, and how to select the appropriate technology. It also aims to introduce the various schools of technology transfer, its requirements, sources of success and the reasons for failure, and how to avoid those reasons. It also provides students with the most important requirements and mechanisms to assist in the process of absorbing and settling technology. The course also seeks to inform students of the most important practices in the transfer, resettlement and development of technology.
