The Reality of Applying of Total Quality Management Dimensions in Syrian banks (A Comparative Study between Conventional and Islamic Banks Operating in Syrian Arab Republic)
This study aims to recognize whether the banks in Syrian Arab Republic adopt Total Quality Management (TQM) dimensions or not, noting the existed organizational and cultural differences between conventional and Islamic banks, these dimensions include the concentration on clients, concentration on employees needs, concentration on operation improvements and finally concentration on managerial needs for competition. The study also aims to clarify the effect of organizational culture differences between Islamic and conventional banks on applying TQM dimensions.
The researcher used the descriptive method and used the sample survey to collect data to meet the research objectives. The study includes a random sample of bank’s employees from different offices and branches. The researcher used a questionnaire to collect data from the sample publication, distributed where 138 questionnaires were received.
The study concluded that the banks in Syrian Arab Republic adopts the TQM dimensions, although these TQM dimensions are being applied in homogeneous positive levels where the highest level was concentrating on the managerial needs for competition, and the final one was the concentration on worker needs. this dimension considers as the least one among the dimensions which the banks applied.
The study also concluded that there are no significant differences between Islamic and conventional bank on TQM applications and there are no such these differences among age, the specialization, the experience, and gender of sample publication.إعداد: الطالب عسّاف اليان عسّاف

A Study on the Impact of Process Approach & Evidence-Based Decision Making on improving electronic archiving performance: ( A case study of the “MEMORY OF THE CITY” Project)
This research aims to study the impact of the principles of quality management/ Process Approach & Evidence-Based Decision Making/ on /electronic archiving/ with its dimensions of ensuring the evidentiary value, protecting documents, facilitating their understanding, and reliability. The study followed a descriptive methodology relying on references, reports, and studies, and many conclusions were drawn from it. From the information that we used in designing the questionnaire and adopting it as a measurement tool to survey the responses of the participating employees and administrators, which numbered fifty-four employees in the questionnaire, and then we studied descriptive analytical statistics through a multiple regression test, the study concluded that there is a direct correlation between the principles of quality management, the process approach and Evidence-Based Decision Making with Dimensions of electronic archiving.
The study recommended increasing attention to the dimension of Evidence-Based Decision Making according to the facts. The process approach must be effectively implemented, as organizations must take several measures. Strategy and use of reliable record-keeping and archiving standards to ensure authenticity and integrity in project archiving. Project leaders and project managers must clarify and use greater methods about the role of promoting greater objectivity and confidence in the decision-making process.

Gap analysis between current situation and Requirements of International Standard ISO 17025:2017 ( Case Study: Environmental laboratory - Higher institution for science and technology in Damascus)
This study aims to examine the current position of enviroment laboratory at higher institution of sciences and technology against implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
This study conduct using a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data analysis. The quantitative approach aims to measure how far the laboratory is ready for applying ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
While the qualitative data approach aims to produce a comprehensive picture of the readiness of the laboratory for implementing ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The readiness level of laboratory in implementing ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is done by measuring the compliance level of the requirements contained in ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Checklist that was made based on identification from clauses and documents required in ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The results showed that is a difference between the laboratory percentages of the applicable items in the ISO17025/2017 standard, due to variation in the ability of the employee to understand the standard more, and that some requirements were actually applied.

Applying the SERVQUAL Model and DMADV Methodology to Improve and Develop Service (Field Study: Sales Office of an Airline Company)
The aim of this research is to improve and develop service in the sales office of an airline company to achieve customer satisfaction. One of the problems facing the concept of quality management is that some individuals associate it only with inspection, which they believe requires significant cost and increase in manpower.
American Society for Quality (ASQ) clarify the concept of quality management as: “the application of a quality management system in managing a process to achieve maximum customer satisfaction at the lowest overall cost to the organization while continuing to improve the process”.
The researcher used the descriptive analytical method to study the gap between customers perceptions and their expectations of service quality using the SERVQUAL scale, then improved and developed the service using the DMADV methodology.
The results of the service quality dimensions (tangibility, assurance, and empathy) indicated customer satisfaction, whereas the results of the two dimensions (reliability and responsiveness) indicated customer dissatisfaction, where gaps and problems related to the provided service were identified and resolved. Moreover, it was assured that the service had become satisfactory in comparison to what existed prior to the improvement and development process.

Measuring the quality of electronic payment service in Syria and requirements for improvement ( Case study: Syriatel Cash service)
This research aims to measure the expected and perceived quality of SyriatelCash service among customers and subsequently calculate the gap between customer expectations and perceptions of this service. This was achieved using the SERVQUAL scale, employing six dimensions of quality: usability, information quality, reliability, responsiveness, customer assurance, and social media communication tools. The opinions of the sample individuals were surveyed through the distribution of an electronic questionnaire consisting of 44 items, with 22 items dedicated to expected quality and 22 items to perceived quality. The number of respondents reached 115 individuals.
To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive analytical approach was employed, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS statistical software. ........
