General description
This course familiarizes students with measurement methods and systems and provides the necessary knowledge and skills that enable them to evaluate measurement results with reference to standards and standard specifications, and to revise the measurement results procedures which ensure the data integrity used in the analysis of measurement results, and which explain the complications of the impact of measurement errors on product-related decisions. It also introduces how to build a traceability hierarchy and the International System of Units, and how to choose and optimize standard measurement devices.
