Topic outline

  • General description

The basic purpose of any management and quality systems is always to improve performance and optimal use of resources. Thus, there is a substantial need to distinguish managerial problems and resolve them within a systemic framework integrated with quality, decisions and information systems. Decision makers/students must be provided with a set of modeling tools in order to be used to solve problems, make decisions, and estimate risks based on the available information, the most important of which are decision trees, utility theory and some auxiliary tools in problem modeling.
