General description
**Course Description**: This course aims to introduce the student to the risks associated with the work of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), especially crises and emergency events (earthquakes, epidemics, wars) and their types, and how to develop a crisis/emergency management plan and its four stages, as well as develop rapid response systems.
**Learning Outcomes**: By the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- Recognize the risks associated with NGO work.
- Understand the four stages of crisis management.
- Measure the organizations readiness to respond to crises and develop early warning systems.
- Develop a crisis and disaster management plan and rapid intervention strategies.
- Design a continuity plan for the NGO.
