General description
Course Description: This course aims to provide students with leadership skills and types of leadership in non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the characteristics and traits of a successful leader, and the relationship between the leader and subordinates. It also introduces students to leadership theories and how the leaders role changes with different working conditions of NGOs, as well as how to build teams in NGOs.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Recognize the traits of a successful leader.
Understand leadership theories and types in NGOs.
Understand how the leaders role changes with different working conditions of NGOs.
Know how to manage teams in NGOs.
Identify the challenges facing NGO teams and ways to overcome them.
