General description
Course Description: The course deals with the basic concepts related to human resources management and their specificity in non-governmental organizations. It also explains methods for attracting, training, and retaining volunteers, in addition to managing diversity, especially in international non-governmental organizations
Learning outcomes: At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- Understand the methods of human resources management in non-governmental organizations
- Understand diversity management in non-governmental organizations, especially international ones
- Design a strategy to attract volunteers and employs optimal methods in training, motivating and retaining employees and volunteers
- Determine the organizations volunteer needs, and is proficient in attracting and recruiting volunteers, according to their abilities and the organizations needs.
