Course description:
Course aim: This course aims to increase students competence in the concepts of human resource management and its applications within the management of healthcare systems.
Educational outcomes: This course covers the concepts of human resource management as they are applied in health services organizations. Students will explore the relationship between HRM and general management. The nature of work and human resources, compensation and incentives, workforce planning; recruitment and selection, training and development, employee appraisal and discipline, and union-management relations.
