    The course explains how BIM allows the use and addition of data collected during the operation phase of the building. It illustrates the changing role of architects in the construction industry as they include BIM in their workflow. From interoperability, open standards, knowledge sharing, and data collection, to the BIM suite, implementation planning, and project workflow, this course provides a comprehensive understanding of the key aspects of BIM models. Presenting case studies for companies of all sizes, illustrating how BIM is implemented in the construction industry around the world. Educational Outcomes: 1 - The graduate will be able to explain and display the steps for the correct application of BIM in any company and enter into negotiations to adopt BIM in companies. It will also be able to develop the necessary operational plan for this. 2- Establishing standard BIM policies, procedures and work processes. 3- Electronically exchange all project data in a common environment. 4- Leverage techniques and strategies from information management, design management, construction management, project management, supply chain management and life cycle management that best support BIMM operations.
