General description
This second course of integrated management of natural resources addresses concepts concerning adaptive management of ecosystem as forest, land, and land use management, and focuses on the importance of considering the ecosystems and human resources as the basis for resources management, because they generate them in the form of services, and which is and, if they deteriorate, the resource situation deteriorates at the same time. This course also offers successful local, national and global case studies within an interactive framework. This course offers the opportunities to students to learn how to couple conventional natural resources management systems with those based on ecosystems services.
