General description
The course reviews public health, occupational safety and health requirements in all service areas in the hotel facility, awareness and training methods in the safety of staff and guests, and also reviews the safety of storage work, accidents and injuries, how to inspect and classify them, duties, types, conditions and role of protective clothing, expected fires and their methods and causes, fire prevention guide and how to deal with them, first aid provided for wounds and burns that occur in the hotel tourist facility.
Learning outcomes: At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify the objectives of occupational health and safety, and the necessary components to provide them.
- Be familiar with the duties of workers and the employer to achieve safety and prevention during work.
- Be familiar with preventive health and occupational safety in various departments of hotel facilities.
- Be able to obtain a health certificate
- The student will be able to implement occupational safety mechanisms, conditions and prevention tasks in a way that preserves the safety of workers and guests.
- Acknowledge work accidents and injuries and occupational diseases, inspect them and how to analyze and deal with them.
- Learn how to prevent wounds and burns and the correct ways to lift loads.
- Learn about some fire alarms and fire-fighting devices
- Perform some first aid for some wounds and burns that occur
