General description
The course aims to provide students with the concepts and terminology of language acquisition, and the stages of language development, and familiarize them with the first and second language acquisition theories, their approaches, and doctrines. The course explains the most important research results that can improve the teaching and learning of first and second languages and provides the student with basic information on the methods and strategies of teaching languages, and the use of language teaching methods in designing lessons with various language skills according to the theories, curricula, methods studied, and methods of evaluating learners.
