General description
The objective of the Routing principles course is to introduce the concept of routing in inter networks. The student is expected upon successful completion of this course to be able to:
• Understand routing algorithms in networks
• Acquire experience in the most relevant routing protocols used in TCP/IP networks
• Have knowledge in nontraditional networks (multicast networks, Ad Hoc Networks, Overlay Networks, etc) and routing mechanisms in these networks.
