Topic outline

  • General description

Design of Experiments (DOE) is a methodology used to design and develop new products and procedures, and to improve manufacturing processes. This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to design experiments, analyze results and interpret data. This helps to reduce the time of product and service development, improve performance, and improve product quality through defining the following basic concepts: defining levels and response functions, handling errors, designing and arranging experiments, defining measurement methods, explaining matrices of known experiments such as experiments with boundary solutions for several parameters and analyzing their results, and experiments with partial marginal solutions for a large number of parameters.
