    Course Description: This course aims to introduce students to the concept of governance, its characteristics, and the rationale for governance in non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It covers the advantages of applying good governance, as well as the roles and functions of governance. The course also discusses the positives and costs/negatives of governance, its applications, and the legal rules that support good internal governance. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, students will be able to: Understand the meaning of governance, its characteristics, and the reasons for its use in NGOs. Comprehend the advantages of applying good governance. Recognize the costs and drawbacks of governance. Know the standards and tools of governance. Understand the characteristics of organizational structures in NGOs. Be aware of local legal rules and international standards that support good internal governance.
