General description
Course Description: The course deals with legislation related to the work of non-governmental organizations. These include legislation and laws regulating the work of non-governmental organizations in Syria (associations, work, finance, etc.) and related legislation, in addition to international humanitarian law.
Learning outcomes: At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- Understand the legal aspects of the work and framing of the activity of non-governmental organizations
- Realize the implications of such legislation in regulating the interventions of non-governmental organizations
- Explore the shortcomings in the legislation regulating the work of non-governmental organizations
- Understand the interrelationship between local and international legislation related to the work of non-governmental organizations
- Utilize relevant legislation to develop the third sector and activate the role of non-governmental organizations
