    Course description: Evidence-Based Decision Making for Managers. Course aim: This course aims to provide evidence-based decision-making skills that improve the quality of performance in healthcare systems. Educational outcomes: This course includes theoretical models of healthcare quality work, as well as practical strategies for applying and implementing improvement initiatives in the healthcare environment. The course will review the evidence-based practice goals of providing safe, effective, timely, patient-centred, patient-centred and equitable care. Students will learn different sources and categories of data that have proven useful in achieving outcomes through quality improvement. It identifies qualitative and quantitative quality improvement strategies that managers use to engage in effective decision-making.
