General description
The course is concerned with introducing students to linguistic and educational research methods in the field of teaching and learning languages, especially the Arabic language, and training students concerning the foundations of quantitative and qualitative scientific research, and research problems in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. It also aims to identify the steps of the scientific method, in terms of defining the research problem, its objectives, questions and hypotheses, and methods of benefiting from relevant previous studies, choosing appropriate data collection tools for the research methodology, sampling methods, identifying sources of knowledge and adopting electronic sources, and documentation methods . according to global systems.
