Course Description: Introduction to BIM BIM definitions, BIM dimensions and levels, digital architecture, BIM as PLM. BIM maturity levels. Use forms. Digital twins, flow building model with structural elements in Revit. _ practical application. Educational Outcomes: 1- The student knows the basics of BIM technology, and realizes that BIM is not just another type of engineering program, but a new methodology for working in the field of construction in line with the idea of PLM systems, used in modeling, design, analysis, construction management and building management. Simultaneous work of competencies. 2 - Understands the differences between CAD and BIM. Understands the need to support open standards in BIM modeling and the interoperability of BIM systems. Understand and evaluate the interaction processes involved in building design, construction, and management through the use of BIM 3D models and data sets. 3- The student will learn the tools and methodologies for integrating 3D Building Model BIM using Revit tools. 4- Emphasize the benefits of applying BIM through critical and creative analysis of existing projects or case studies, and logical reasoning.
